This car's had quite the transformation, though, as detailed on.. er.. another site.

Its ended up looking like this;

WTF is that rear spoiler doing on there?
Be better without that and the bonnet scoops, but then it would be pretty much standard.

one of the best transition photos......

As euro style cars go the blue version is up amongest the best, it isn't a style we do in the GB but then we can modify engines..............

Rear diffuser is a renault clio cup item.

yep what James said. You are looking at approx £100 for the plastic style one on my Facebook page or £900 for the carbon fibre ones used on the Clio Cup cars as far as I understand it.

The one on my Facebook is not for me btw. It is for a friend but I do understand this could be the new mod for 2012 :icecream:

I'm thinking one of those diffusers would graft onto a mk 2 bumper very nicely.

You're all taking the car out of context, if you've spent any time in "normal" Spain you'll have seen lots of cars trying to emulate this style, most of them get no where near.

A comparison would be an 18 year old in a Saxo with a loud exhaust compared to a ZS300.

Don't forget they can't modify engines in most of europe, if you don't like the style at least appricaite the quality.

hhhmmmm...................................Nah looks like a pile of *****! lol

I've seen many cars that look good from a distance, you need to see a car up close to judge the quality. In my opinion no matter how good the work, its a waste of time because it looks rubbish, that is why I could never appropriate it,or the work which has gone into it.

Its about personal opinions, not context. My Mum lives in Spain, so I've spent a far bit of time there not seem many like this!

talkingcars
18-12-11, 03:53 PM
I've seen pictures of it close up and I think it's good.

When I say "normal" Spain I mean not the areas that tourists and expats go to.

Didn't know you knew where my Mum lives! She lives in a very Spanish town, and has no English friend in Spain. She is no typical expat, thank you.

Nice stereotype though.

Anyway each to there own, I hate the first version of the car, and love the second.

Hate/Love there my word(s) as per the original topic.
