A guy over on .org sent me a message saying he loves my car and would like to make me a very generous offer for it if i will sell it to him, so i thought why not see what he offers me.

So i replied and said go on then.

3 days later i get his very "generous" offer £400 yes thats what i said £400 some people eh lol

Being the sarcy tw*t I am, Id say this:

"Thanks for taking the time to carefuly value my pride and joy. Equally, I have digested your generous offer and crunched the figures. It is with regret however that on this occasion I am going to have to politely tell you to f**k right off"

Trouble is thats what they live for, better to just ignore it, and as they say, treat it with the contempt it deserves.

Probably the better approach to be fair :P. As said there are some muppets on that site but there are on most (with the exception of this site of course :D), you never know though, the guy may genuinely think it is a generous offer and as such deserves an "educational" reply. That said there are also some really helpful guys particularly on the diesel forum (the main reason I go on there).

Obviously a typo, he must have meant £4000, point out his error and tell him you'll think about it:beer2:
