Finally got the right paperwork together, changed the headlights for LHD units and put the Canary through the french Contrôle Technique.

I was shocked they let it through with the mods - was sure the HIDs, decat, noise and blacked-out light clusters would fail. So just 1 advisory..one headlight marginly out of alignment. Not surprising as I changed them myself and aligned using a wall in the garage.

Just one doc away now from getting french plates.

I took this pic on Dublin - Liverpool crossing in December. To say it stands out in the sea of the common black/grey/silver drab is an understatement. Yellow FTW! Got some thumbs up from the staff when boarding.

Nice one :D Are those your winter wheels?

They are indeed. it's a set of new Harpins I got cheap-ish from a guy who wanted to fit them on his Citroen. Nokian rubber all round.
It's been warm here all winter (>10º) so not needed them yet. There was a big temperature drop today and I'm off skiing next week so they'll be getting a proper workout soon.

How has winter been treating you? The land rover being put through its paces?

Skiing, nice, one day I'll get around to it! Weather's been mild except this morning was a little sharp. So the Landy is on standby!
