I am getting quite a lot of condensation in the boot and it is making the carpet a bit damp. Any ideas how to deal with this or is it just something I will have to live with?

Both of our zs suffer from it as well, no idea why, I've chucked a couple of bags of silica gel in the boot to try and keep it down a bit.

Few areas where water can get into the boot, behind the rear lights, also where the bolts go through to the rear bumpers. Is the spare wheel well dry?? Check all the seams have the seam sealer and not letting in water.

The plastic clips that go from the boot to hold the bumper in place have quite a bit of free space around them, Silicone sealant around these area helps or better still look into the modified bumper brackets.

You will see from this that there is a vent that can sometimes be flapping open letting water in, good to seal this up also.

Good call Marcus, but never use normal bathroom sealant only use a sealant that is designed for automotive use.

Use sikaflex 552

Make sure the rear washer pipe hasn't split! Usually under the rubber sleeve where it bends at the hatch. With the cold weather of late that would be my bet! I have had mine split on the ZS and the ZR and my Rover 216 before that!
