Hey guys. Time to sell my wee motor that I use to runabout every day for commuting etc. Had her for just over a year now and has never let me down. Now got a replacement so it is no longer required. So if you're after a cheap runabout or maybe your looking for your first car then this is perfect and it is in a low insurance band. Some details below:

1.4 16 Valve K series engine (older wet liner engine)
1994 M Reg
MOT'd until mid May 2012
Taxed until 31st October 2012
3 door (surprisingly spacious)
Half leather seats (rear seats exceptionally clean)
Rear arm rest
Nightfire red and bottom half grey
Rear colour coded plinth and later smoked lights
SEi 15" alloys in good condition
4 brand new Toyo T1-R tyres all round (about 8 months old now, plenty of tread)
Partial service history and old MOTs and service book
Spare key included
Full service twice in the year that I have had it. Once at 50k - March 2011 and again at 58k - January 2012) - This included new spark plugs, new ignition leads, complete coolant flush, new oil and oil filter
New inlet manifold gasket fitted as old one was leaking around May 2011 (have the receipts - got other work done at the same time - cost a fair bit but job was a good 'un)
New alternator belt fitted
New front calipers, discs and pads shortly after I got the car
Electric sunroof (it works and no leaks! and no rust around the edges)
Only 60k on the clock
Pioneer CD/Radio player
Electric windows
4 wheel allignment in mid 2011
New front pipe
New backbox
Average 38mpg
Very spacious boot
Drivers side window fixed as it came off the runners.
Drivers side door handle replaced (common problem)
No interior leaks and the boot is bone dry.

I've spent quite a bit of money on the car since I have had it. Just general maintanance costs. No issues with the car.

The downside - fuel tank leaks when more then about £20 worth of petrol filled (common issue) - Good news is that the car will come with a BRAND new fuel tank for the new owner to fit if they wish. This cost me in the region of £90.

Catalytic converter has just gone so it rattles. This will need replacing otherwise it will fail the next MOT. Only £30-£35 to buy new and easy enough to fit or a quick garage job.

No timing belt history so this ideally should be done ASAP - Good news - Brand new timing belt kit included! This cost me about £40.
Some rust near the drivers side door. Looks to be surface rust. Sills are solid and no rust on the arches at all!

One or two dings on the car, one noticeably on the front passenger side wing.

Rad could perhaps do with being replaced in the near future. Looks fine for now. The car loses no coolant whatsoever! I haven't topped it up in months and the level is spot on.

A bit of wear on drivers side seat and a rip in the leather as you can see from the pics. It was like that when I bought the car.

Don't worry about the faded parts on the car especially on the grey parts. It just need a bit of detail and it'll look clean again. Some tar remover and clay and a bit of elbow grease will do the trick.

I'm asking for £475 or nearest offer. Car is located in Fife, Scotland. I don't mind travelling a bit within reason. I think for under £500 you're gonna struggle to find much better and this is a low mileage motor and has plenty of life in it yet. It's not perfect but with a bit of looking after she'll happily go on for 10 years.
Any questions, don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks for looking. Ravinder. :)
