How's everyone getting on with the snow?
Most people wont be working today but I set off early this morning and I can tell you that it was very dodgy!
So pleased I have my new GT Champiro's on the front. They don't pull me about and so far they have performed outstandingly in both the rain and the snow!
What about you lot.........how you all managing??

Just been out to collect my 17yr old from her friends and drop her to work.

All the roads, even the main roads still have snow on them, pact snow on the side rides, slushy on the main roads.

My daughter went up to London for a concert last night with some friends, a dad drove them in his 4x4, took 4 hours to do 40 miles home.

My newphew took 2.5 hours to get home 3 miles from work in his BMW.

Loads ! Well saying that - 8-9 inches ...

Frozen giving perfect consistency for snowballs !!!!

Been sledging with the boys and got stuck in the C4 at the bottom of the road - neighbours all out to get it going. Nothing like getting stuck to get everyone in the street out together !

Out with the dog for round 2 this afternoon after bacon butties to warm up .... pics later !

About 5cm here.

Took the zed to the shops. More worried about sombody elts plowing into it than getting stuck.

Id doesnt feel that cold and its fast melting. Tommorrow may be more interesting.

No snow just rain. If you need to drive in it and I do, get some snow socks. Theres no such thing as a snow day for me. If I don't get to work then the previous shift doesn't get to go home!

I am in the same position, but I thought snow socks get shredded if you go over exposed concrete whilst driving? It's ok if your route is 100% covered but on the way to work (28 mile trip) it was a bit of both. Are they ok in those conditions?

Looked fun, amazing a few miles makes, all we had was rain.

No golf, by the look of the garden.

Talking about bacon butties, went to pick the grand kids up and there was a big fox in the garden, been around for a bit. Poor thing had a damaged o/s/f leg. Know its wrong but said to the daughter, got any bread?? How about some bacon she said and went to the fridge and got a rasher out. But its not cooked I said!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doh!!!!!

Anyway, Foxy enjoyed it, we walked by it, couple of feet away, he just stood there, on 3 legs. Proper foxy fox, red/white big pointed nose with lots of teeth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He did put his weight on his leg when he walked, so hope it mends.

Yes you do have to take them off when you hit the tarmac but theyre really easy to put on and off
