I will be ready to post this on Monday so we need to sort out who is top of the list, found and repaired two balance and one power motor and that's before I even check the ones on the car lol.

I now have a VIS tester, I'm located in South Woodham Ferrers near Chelmsford, Essex, if anyone wanted to test their VIS motors in this area.

Hi Grimmy, cheers for the update. From your post in October was it not going to Duckfeet next or did they not confirm? I don't want to jump ahead of anyone else but can you send on to me if no one else responds to this post?

..... I live in Cheadle Hulme, and I have a VIS tester, which you are quite welcome to try on your car, and it will save mailing a tester around the country!! It only takes a minute to test them!!! Howard

Ah that's very kind of you mate, maybe we could arrange for me to pop over to you in Cheadle Hulme one weekend if that would be ok?

I've just read the entire thread - it looks like Mart_in_mcr was going to borrow one locally from a guy in Cheadle Hulme?

I am happy to pay and become a site supporter - well worth it just for the info that is shared; 6282tom, I see that you are in Godalming, so if no-one else is currently waiting on the list (and my plenums are out so I can test off the car), I'd be delighted to borrow it... and as I'm only just up the A3 at the M25 I'd even be happy to collect in person as opposed to you needing to post it.

Let me know please. And if I'm pushing in, please let me know!

I currently have it and the address for Rockey5uk2001 to next send it however I'm not entirely sure it is working properly so also been in contact with KevG about it going back to him for checking over.

I've had both my motors refurbished so they should be good, hence my uncertainty about the tester itself.

I have my own VIS tester.
I don't want to post it around like the one in this thread, but if anyone within reach of the Chelmsford (Essex) area wants to test their VIS motors, let me know and we can arrange it.

VIS motors are so terribly unreliable, a VIS tester seems almost essential for a KV6 owner. If only someone had come up with a complete replacement for the whole plenum/VIS manifold, which has always been the blight of KV6s.

Right where is the site vis tester? I have pm'd the last known recipient Ian Donkin but he has failed to reply in 12 days!

I am reluctant to buy or source another one if the existing one cannot be trusted to forum members, remember this was done FOC. The next one may be charged for. I know this is tarring all with the same brush but equally annoying all the same.

who has the Vis Tester? i need it back when you've finished. Ive bought another 180. :trampoline:

it need some work:

Belts
Thermo Housing leaking
Dump the ***** leather interior
sort the rust
fit cold air
secured a full piper system eith decat so that will be fitted.
give it a bloody good clean
wheel powder coated
re spray n/s front bumper kit

and well anything else i can find :sly:

P.
