Strangely mine have both just gone. Any recommendations? Are the Bosch aero ones worth the extra?

I got the eBay special 'aero' ones, cost next to feck all and I've not had a problem with them. They look better too. IMO I'd go with them as I can't see spending all that extra for essentially just a name.

I have these ones and i belive many others do,Good quality but also a good website to get them from http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/rover-mg-zs-years-2001-to-2005/aeroblade-wb5-20-retrofit-flat-and-aeroblade-wb5-18-retrofit-flat-twin-pack-wiper-blades/

The Customer Service is great,I had problem with a wiper so they sent me out another one never had to send the other one back and it came next day.

I bought a set of aero blades and don't rate them above the original ones! They lift at speed and don't clear the whole screen even at low speeds, waste of money imo.

Opposite for me,I think the original ones are rubbish missing part of the screen,Never had a problem with the aero lifting at speed even in high winds.

Didn't have much choice in replacing the wipers as it wouldn't of passed the mot,And the original blades were only three years old.

I bought some Bosch o/e ones, useless in rain just streaked and at night was awful.

Got the ebay aero ones, drivers one comes with a aerofoil to keep it pressed down.

Great result, clears the screen, even dead flies get cleaned away, not just left in a yellow streak!!!

Only cost a few ££££ delivered, so impressed got some for our Punto as well.

Would not go back to the o/e ones.

You can get RainX or something to shoot the rain off.

Another vote for the Ebay aero blades. Combined with a coating of Rain-X they have been faultless, even with salt filled spray.

Rain Ex for me. Use it on the race cars and apart from using the wipers whilst sat on the grid the wipers never get used.

You can get Rain ex anti fog too if you suffer bad misting. But a dab of washing up liquid well polished onto the inside of windows does the job.

But with heaters in road cars the latter might be just useful info for you all :)

The anti-fog is good but takes a bit of buffing to stop it smearing (had issues when driving at night with the oncoming headlights).

I also use it on glasses to stop them fogging up.

Another vote for ebay aero wipers. I bought a few sets as they were so cheap and they're the best wipers i've ever used

Strangely mine have both just gone.........

Why is that strange, they do as many wipes as each other!

Here's the ones I bought:

They are the same as the ones I had on my car (although a different supplier) and they lasted for 3 years.

I replaced them with Halfords ones as I wanted a quick fix but the new ones don't sit so well.

I use the "old fashion" style. You know the ones with bits of metal in them. Got a whole box of them, when I had my Rover 214, discovered the Mk1 Ford Focus blade set fits like a dream. I have used them ever since. When they need replacing, just get a new set from work. £2.50 for 2..

In that case it is worth investing in the aero ones, they have lasted me 3 1/2 years.
