Paint damage

Short story.....
New streetlights are being put up in my street. However, when they removed the old one next to my car they have obviously dropped lots of grit and ***** onto the bonnet and then dry wiped it off leaving lots of scratches.
Anyway, ive been asked to get a quote. What would be better, a respray or detail?

One for Steve to check over. If it can be detailed I would go for that as they may contest a respray or insist on their own people.

If you can feel the scratches under your nail then respray :-( if not... A damn good pro machine polish should see them out
