Get the 620ti and keep the 180.

Track day the 620ti and see how you feel in 6 months.

:yay::yay: :wave::wave:

Not for me - but your call. Very different in terms of what they offer I would imagine. Sure the ZS is a far sharper drive, but if you want a comfier cruiser and a few quid in your pocket - go for the Ti

Then, when you realise that you want the better driving experience of the ZS, butcher the engine out of it and drop it into a Mk2 110 ZS !

No comparison. I personally wouldnt have a ti over a zs 180.

In std form, the 180 will see off a ti in both performance and handling.

The only places the ti will score is comfort and space. Thats it.

Plus ti looks dated and drives like an old car.

The zs maybe a bit old in the tooth in some peoples eyes, but it still has that driving appeal everytime you get behind the wheel, whereas the ti doesnt.

A lot of it depends on the figures involved, how much are the 2 cars worth etc.

With the current price of ZS's I'd seriously consider the offer.

The 620 is quite a heavy car and the suspension is bog standard Rover, so wallows in the bends. A 620 engine in a 420 shell would be a sensible alternative to a 180. :)

Alternatively do the deal get the money sell the ti and go and buy another zs.

Mk1s are now struggling to make £600.00 on 51 plate with 100k

It's a shame to see but it is what it is. However the plus side is that parts have also dropped in value dramatically.

In December I was getting an average of £400.00 for a decent kv6 engine. Now they are struggling to make 250quid. Bear in mind how many other models this engine fits so the trend is affecting other models.

I've tried to sell some of the damaged zs 180s I've had in but it's just a no go.

If it makes zs owners feel any better I can tell you that you will be able to buy a year old mg 6 shortly for around 10k. The Avis rental cars will be around 6k in 3 years time and that's being optimistic. Theres a facelift planned at the end of the year which will just kill the very first MG6.

So don't all be full of gloom, MG6 owners are gonna get there hands burnt with the disastrous launch and marketing these new models have received. I'm glad I bought a damaged one.
