Well just couldnt pass this car up.

It looks nice too so didnt want to break it either.

Has a misfire which on investigation is low compression on cylinder 1, only ever seen this on supercharged cars..lol not nasp ones !!

Think the guy dropped something down the inlet manifold when he took plenum off as he said in never ran right after he took the plenum off.

So i have sitting around a nice zt 190 engine, so next week that will be shoved in the place of the poorly unit.

Then will decide what to do from there.

Not going mad, just want to give Ross a scare with his VAG !

if you want to give ross a fright you will need 2 kv6's in one car, so i assume the new one is going in the boot,lol

p.s for ross, jbs have released their new high flow ko4 cast manifold, standard fitment,no other mods needed, group buy being organised on scn.
30 bhp top end gains when used with your hybrid....and some more torque :punk:

i drove a mates new leon cupra R other day......wow 265 bhp standard, 310 with just a re map add full exhaust and 340 bhp, these power plants are just astonishing.


anyway back on topic, must be a pro kart chassis if you expect a zt 190 engine to make it even half quick :laugh::angel:

No it's a zs.

I'm hoping Ross will get back into his zs again after its disappointing outing to pod.

One KV6 is enough for my car.

I forgotten how clean my silver stepspeed was.

The liquid gold zs isnt too bad. Will do for what i have planned for it.

That's the second ZS i've seen with the lower grill area painted black, I like this look. Will be stealing this idea soon ;) and the rear does look good and you have boot lids for sale :hmmm:

Well the engine had to be removed as the misfire turned out to be bottom end related.

Number 1 piston had a seized top ring.

So just rebuilding the bottom end at the min.

Going to port and polish the heads shortly ready for the 285 cams.

Then put it back together. Hopefully I will then be able to take the throttle body car and mine down to the rollers for some fine tuning.
