Work mates silenced!

Well since I have had the 180 all the work mates take the pee "it's a rover" Yep so who wants a little ride then? "come on then we'll go" So off we go 3 work mates in the car. Micky little coloured guy, Brian , duty manager and my mate Paul. Now I know a nice little road with a very large roundabout! When we arrived back at the yard, poor Micky had turned white Brian had a nervous laugh and Paul has got the Shakes. So 180bhp ex single seater driver, race and sprint winner all put together with understeer going into oversteer makes an entertaining trip out. The Arrive depot at Stevenage is now silencened and will now not take the P out of our so called rovers.:smile1:

Nice one, reminds me of my mk1 Scirocco.

One of the lads had an identical model right down to the colour and he'd had it resprayed so it looked in better condition than mine. However mine had the 1.6 106bhp injection engine with the 4 speed box and his was the same engine but 76 bhp carb, I'd also fitted slightly wider tyres and adjusted the camber etc so it went around corners like it was on rails.

Feed up with his constant micky taking that his car was better than mine I took him out for a spin, we worked close to the main A23 dual carrageway so we went out to that and ran up to the next roundabout and back - he never said another word.......

Did that to two of my mates, they felt very dizzy, easily achievable on the right road :weirdo:

I had this a few years ago from my mate who had a st24 mondogo. Always used to take the pi$$ out of my mg with all the rover jibes until i seen him one day and wiped the floor with him and when i said ha ha your st has just been wasted by a rover you wouldnt belive what he said , its not a rover its an mg . what a nob :laugh:

Niiiiice. People are far too quick to judge. I think the ZR and ZS are amongst the best cars I've ever driven.

Best circuit in this country, was my local circuit along with Lydden always done well in the formula ford. It's an interesting place from upside down as well!!
