Ok, so dont ask, don't get....

I am looking for any donations towards the track car. This will help cover the costs of little bits that need done. (The donation can be parts or money)

The things that need done in the next few weeks before going on track are as follows:

CV Joint replaced - £20

Gear Stick bushes - £23

Induction piping - £15

Thats really it! Not much needing done but as I have just spunked £148 on road tax today, my funds are a touch dry for a while!

In return for any donation I will have your name listed on the bonnet of the car as can be seen below from current donators. You will also be first in line if you decide to drive the car on track.

FYI, I have possible plans of a June visit to a southern track day.

Any help is appreciated guys :)

Just cheap flexi stuff 75mm... And a jubilee clip lol!

I currently have a filter attached to the standard pipe which is heat soak central! So need to relocate the filter and a breather bit too.

I have a small oil breather filter and upper and lower rear strut braces if they are any good to you?

Rear lower brace brackets are still on the car, but the work I will do this weekend should have them removed...

The small filter may need some piping repaired though...

I wasn't sure if Goldie had bought them, will speak to him though. He was going to do the work as it was short timescale for the trackday but other issues meant it was a no go. Will be in touch with him regarding them though, cheers mate.

Induction is a bargain but still too much for me, wonder why the driveshaft is free p&p? Surely it'll cost more to post it, plus what if the bit wee need is also worn?

Just bought a brand new CV joint! Cheers though Dan.

Have also ordered the gasket and putty for fitting the new exhaust.

All thats left is the poly bushes! (Although if anyone has pink coolant kicking about, that would be useful as the level is quite low lol!)

Quick update.... Stickers have been paid for and Dazzer is posting them so will have them shortly.

Have received new CV joint and exhaust seal etc so have started on cv joint repair, will finish it in a couple of days time.

Andy is sorting out the gear stick bushes, Grimmy is supplying the induction hosing, Marcus has posted me the jubilee clips to fix this, Sam is providing a breather and two rear strut braces so the track car is getting lots of love from everyone and should be more fun to drive in May!

Once again, thank you for your kind donations guys and if anyone still wants their name on the car, a small donation is all thats needed :)

I'll request that on the bus, not that I see many people get on with gazebos. Can offer you lots of umbrellas in pink red flowery and black. We have a room full of them.

Right - I was gonna go out tonight for a few beers after work with some guys I've not seen for a while and that'd be £50 easy.....

Well - to be honest - I don't miss any of them and spend my time on here. Instead of doing that - I'm gonna get a few beers from tescos and buy the Mrs a take-out and bung £25 over to you Blair to go towards sorting the exhaust out at a fitters.

All the best ... :beer2:
