Just bought my son a pedal kart and wondered if anyone's handy with a saw and hammer and fancied knocking up a zs or zr replica body i could bolt onto it?

nice task to tackle yourself with your son i would of thought once you have drawn the shape on some 1/2 inch mdf get some stainless pipe clips that fit on the frame and screw them to the boards once you've cut the shape out

When you put it like that it sounds easy.
Maybe not gonna let my son loose with the saw though as he's only 2. Might be a job for the bank holiday wkend.

Compared to MDF? You must be using too much glass if it is...

Think I would get the son into classic MG's like a TA, all straight lines, so much easier to do!!!!

I want that chrome pedal car for myself. Whats $500 in real money? The ta or tf pedal cars sound more realistic than a modern mg. could i build it out of single ply it's flexible and light or maybe make a wire frame then fibreglass over that.

Some great cars in there, meet all the Greens wishes for cars. No fumes, easy to park.

Just trawled through 60 pages of pedal cars on e bay and can't believe that you can get fiat 500's, pug 206cc, mini coopers even a skoda yeti but no mg's did find an alfa 8c though and a cool "kidillac"

I can remember the A30's that used to be on the roundabouts, few years back.

Worth a few bob now.

yep they're goin for £1000 + in top condition. I think there's money to be made in kids karts.
