Well the mk2 180 went in for it's MOT today and after spending last week getting it compliant.... It passed!!!

108,000 miles on the clock, still pulls like a train and is capable of passing tests!

A happy man right now!

Bit worried about opening up this, knowing your recent luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, well done, Passssssssssssssssed, bet you couldnt believe it.

Just shows what a great motor and a bit of TLC can do.

Marcus, you're right. I 'borrowed' the tail lights from the track car, a spare horn was found to replace the broken one and I did the brakes/wipers/reg plates and I used 2 tyres from the previous track car as the front ones were bald. Also bought a mk2 alloy to replace the one that was leaking air!

All in all it cost me £85 which included the work done so mega happy!
