went this way on the way back from the Monaco Historic GP, very nice bit of road, and not too much traffic.

Wow ... Great pics - Thanks for sharing.

You can see why the TG boys always take their supercars to roads like that .... Look epic ....

Impressive Andrew, bet that was fun :D Was that the same road they filmed an early James Bond scene as looks familiar?

I don't know if it's been used for anything like that, there is not a lot up there. It is a nice road, and I'd recommend it if you're near by, but there aren't that many other good roads close to it, which is probably why we didn't do it on our 2007 tour of alpine passes. I was really pleased not to catch up to any traffic, although the brakes were getting quite smelly by the time we got to the bottom.

Yeah it was quite good fun, although it has to be said that it is not nearly as nimble and quick out of the hairpins as my Midget ;) Very satisfying to know that despite being about 10 km further, it was quicker to go over the pass than on the main road :D

We are doing a driving holiday in the MGF in June, it was going to be Scotland but as the weather has been pants recently so may well be going south, something like this will be included :trampoline:
