This has to be my favourite ZS. The only thing that would make it better imo is for it to be supercharged.

yeah i'm good :) glad to see you are still around! have you got a zs or have you still got the zr's?

to answer your other question - the xpower exhaust isn't really loud but it does give it a nice sound. if you boot it it makes it sound good but not annoying at all when cruising at 70.

if you want loud tho - this isn't the exhaust to go for. i just wanted something a bit more gutsy than standard and i wanted to keep the car with original parts and i thought the xpower one was the best option to do that.

also bear in mind i have the ITG maxogen on there too so that will add to the sound when accelerating.

we have a mk2 180 and still got vics zr but sold mine on years ago, had another one since but just stripped it for bits, theres some pics in members car on here on both cars. im not after a loud exhaust, i remember the janspeed on the zr wasnt loud so as hoping the zs one was the same, think im going to make my own exhaust now anyway.

Yeah it is pretty much the same as the ZR one :-)

Well guys - sorry to resurrect an old thread but I am starting to think about selling the Twilight ZS. The question is: How much is she worth??

Under 50k
Full service History
Belts done
ITG Induction
Xpower duplex exhaust
Full leather interior
All the other 180 extras
Factory Twilight paint work

Be kind on this one - she's a bit of a one off... What is she worth guys?

It's sad to know I am only the second owner and the guy who bought it spec'ed it brand new and paid nearly 26k for it!! Mad ain't it!!

£2500? Are you lot for real?

You can get a 'normal' coloured one for that!

Surely £3500

To true there are a lot of rough ones out there and unloved i value mine in the 3.5k range there is no way i whould be giving it away try finding another thats what i say .worth every penny :punk:

Great looking car

Maxxed_Ross
27-05-13, 08:33 AM
I'd say advertise at £3.5k and aim to accept and offer of around £3k upwards.

If you're not in a rush to sell then hold on for the right money. As already said it's people being stupid and selling too cheap that kills the value of rare cars like this

No mate - it's the buyers that won't pay and sellers move them on.

I'd sell my house for £500K - but no-one would pay that for it.

End of the day - as has been said - if he's in no rush get it up for what you actually want for it - there may be a buyer out there for it.

This is where my head is at... This kind of money. It's a car in great condition, hardly a mark on it. Even the alloys are in great condition. No curbing etc.

Keep it john what are you gonna find for that kind of money and a great spec car . It will only increase as time goes on

In an ideal world, its worth more than even £3500

In a realistic world, it is not.

Id say keep hold of it too.

You will all be glad to know I still own this car even though it hasn't moved for a year...

I am about to take owner ship of a Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 CDTI VX-Line as a company car and I still can't decide whether to keep it or sell it.

I just don't know... I suppose if the right offer came along I would have to sell it.

I also have the 350z which I could also get shot off and keep the ZS for shows and the odd ride out on a weekend? Or so I sell both and save some money! arrggghh!!!

Difficult decision, it's a cracking looking car, I'd keep it if it was my decision.

peterzs

Seconded, plus for what you would get for it, would be an insult.

Keep it and wait fot the prices to rise.

I think you've more or less answered your own question.

Get shot of the 350 and keep the ZS as your toy.

to be honest - yes, this is the way I am thinking of going.

The MG will be cheaper to keep than the 350z and its a much more practical car too.

Looking forward to the insignia tho! I've heard lots of good things about them.

I had an insignia 160 SRi diesel for a week - nice car. Ride was a bit harsh for a big car, but it was nice and refined.

it's rare to find one of these in good condition now, so think long and hard before you decide to sell it. once it's gone it will be near enough impossible to get another
