Hi Lads.Wife just phoned aprking at Iceland,smoke billowing out then stopped.Called breakdown and towed to house,breakdown boy thinks its the steering .its a 2.5 V6 180 ZS,,any clues,big job,burst pipe? from what shw said it took a qhile for it to drop out,trail in carpark,over the back of breakdown and now running out on the street,,,thanks..Ian

have a look at the steering rack (drivers side) and see if the pipe is resting on it the happend to me and burst not a big job just two nuts and a clip the back one is a pain to get too
number 9 is the part you need if its the pipe ???

That pipe went on my first 180 when it had 71 miles on the clock!!!! :( :(

yup as above, that pipe is normally the suspect if it's been rubbing on anything
Like the AC pump as was the case with mine!! Should have been picked up at the pdi but then the garage I bought my first 180 off was rubbish !!
