Looking for a Zr or a 25 for the better half as she's started working again and nicks the car, leaving me and our 2 year old stranded at home! Apart from good working order it needs to be quite cheap! Anyone??

You'll be hit on insurance with a BRM. Your best bet is a 1.4, 1.6 or 1.8 rover 25.

My mate pays less for his BRM than he did for his Rover 200Vi... I don't think the BRM is as expensive to insure as people think :) - maybe worth getting some quotes if you are thinking about a BRM.

I pay about 200 less on the 180 then I did on my old BRM. I guess it's just down to location/who you are/and what you do :(

High mileage for a K-series so check it over & check the sunroof is in good order.

Yh, i thought it was abit high mileage but then it's only to get the missus to work and not our general run around!

Car looks OK, belts and head gasket done and a newish MoT.

Think its down to overall condition and how the car drives.

Hope its a good one.

Looks nice ... hope it's a good one !
IIRC you're a tall chap though. I used to struggle to get cumfy in a ZR with headroom. That sunroof will reduce the headroom further - but like you said - it's for the wife .... ;)

Yes we made a cheeky offer of £600 and he excepted so hopefully going on Saturday to have a look/pick her up! We done a valuation check and came back at private sale £1600 so possibly got another good bargain like we did on the ZT-T all down to the wife thou!
