Yesterday had a 400 mile round trip for work and my work car is in the repair shop due some idiot In Tesco reversing into it So I decided I'd dust of the 180 as I can't stand the courtesy car its a proton enough said..... any way wasnt in any hurry so figured I'd see how good mpg I could get was mostly motorway miles with 2 small delays but averaged at 36.8 mpg was quite impressed

Very good figures there ..... How did you measure ?
i managed 45.8 mpg on the trip computer of a ZT v6. I literally didn`t move the throttle for nearly 20 miles ha! I know they are not accurate but looked good! Then had it at 16.3 with some spiritted driving home again!
I don't really bother checking lol. I only worry on a long journey about when I should get fuel!

Mine used to average 32 MPG over a 400 mile run to Yorkshire and back..... driven sort of briskly.....

I drove averaging at 60mph on the motorway
Calculated it by how many miles i did and the amount of fuel I put in at the

I think the best I've recorded since using www.fuelly.com is 33mpg in the ZS and 40.6mpg in the F.

I've no idea how people get such high mpg, I can't seem to get any better than 25mpg! Very impressive.

Don't worry, my average (see below) is keeped that high by the odd long journey, normally it's around 22-23.
