You can put another 600 on that at least for the belts! So £1250 all in really!

Still a good deal with such low mileage!

Seems to have had a lot done, and only 39k. Seems like its had a new engine or gone round the clock.............

Sounds a bit suspect to me tbh. Id be doing an MOT check to verify mileage thats for sure.

if he/her has recipts for head gaskets then seems like a bargin, but why would any1 have the hg done at 12k seems abit strange, the belts still need doing very soon but at the price they are asking still seems pretty good even if they are lieing about the hg, if u get the car for 600 or less and then pay ruffly 5-6ton on the belts making a maximum spend of 12tonish, still seems a bargin to me, but i have the same mk1 hatch on a 02 reg that came with 46k on the clock, and the master and slave cylinder went, and then the main clutch went, and then the brakes started squeaking, so expect to spend a few quid threw the duration of owning the car, but u would have the same prob with most cars except the shoddy clutch setup, but still if u compare the total to other cars u aint going to get a car on the same level for the same price, and belive me, the mk1 zs180 hatch still smokes alot of performance/new cars belive me, take the badges of it makes things funnier, i love all the boy racers trying to have ago, coz they think its a 1.4 or sumat haha

Having had 5 and still owning 2, I know what you mean. Always keeping an eye out for a cheap but good yellow one for the wife though.

On the flipside don't always see a low miler as a good buy, plenty of cases of low milers being low milers because they are always playing up and people give up on them. Still looks a worthy purchase.

Wow, wish my cd changer held 16 discs!

Serious though, looks a great donor car.
