Hi all, not sure if I've ever introduced myself on here. But I'm sure you'll of heard of me!

I'm Nathan, the owner of the Tank. That Camo Rover 200...

http://www.scenestatusmagazine.com/LoveStatus/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/27.jpg

But anyway, enough of that old thing. I've been looking for a ZS for near on two years now. Originally wanting a Monogram, either Twilight or Sunspot. The search was near impossible.

Then a couple of weeks back the ZS280 came up for sale, which I'm sure you'll have also heard about. Although not a Monogram, it was exactly what I was wanting. Perfect in every way.

Hello, glad it has gone to a fellow enthusiast, top motor and top spec, a smashing car. Nice photos too. Is that a Marina 1800TC I spyed in one of the shots?

Love it.. Its been one of my favourite ZS's since I first saw it on line and then seeing it at ZEDTEN it looked amazing.
I love charged engines, the noise is amazingly addictive.
I always loved the 200 too, both in the BRM guise and camo.
Top work and keep the photos coming :D

Nope - hadn't heard about it before. Is there a build thread somewhere?
Anyway it looks stunning. Particularly like the white wheels against the blue, and nowt wrong with red callipers when they're DECENT brakes (rather than chavs just painting diddy ones and DRUMS FFS)!!!
Fantastic stance too - bet it feels like the perfect combination of power and handling - with a bit of comfort thrown in for good measure.
Would be nice to see some closeups of the engine and some interior shots.
The only constructive criticism I'd offer is that the bootlid needs to be broken up by a badge - when de-badged it looks just a bit too wide and featureless. A big black and silver one to compliment the one on the front would set it off.
Oh and if any car ever deserved a duplex, then that's the one.
Hey, is that a towbar?

Absolutely love the car, reminds me of my ignition blue one with white wheels.

Also love the supercharger kit and the mod list is impressive.

Welcome to the site mate.

Thanks for the comments :D

Yes it does have a tow bar! I've been considering removing it, and getting a duplex on there.

But knowing my luck, as soon as I remove it, I'll need use of it.

Actually if I had that car I would stick the towball part back on as only for rear end protection. Seen too many ZS's written off due to a soft rear end shunt, yours would be criminal to lose due to a damaged rear panel and bumper(assuming you don't have agreed valuation in place?)

A duplex would probably need the bracket removed as the offside mount uses the chassis rail, right where the tow bracket bolts to most likely!

Sorry, didn't realise it was that car, was a bit early when I was looking at the first post.

I have a towbar and duplex exhaust, powerflow used a single box in the standard location that has 2 outlets, 1 at each end, they then ran a pipe round the back of the spare wheel well to the other side.

My last one also had a towbar and a duplex exhaust. I love that car.

It'd been polished up when I bought it, but I gave it a proper going over at the weekend myself.

Got quite a few funny looks when I parked it there at the shopping centre, got out and started going over it with the quick detailer haha.

It is! He came along with us when I was doing some photos of the ZS and a few of my mates cars. He's been restoring it over the past 6 months. The transformation is quite incredible.

Most definitely has fun with the Rover. The nights in the garage at 3am, the routine head gasket replacements. Just everything about it, as frustrating as it was, it's all fun memories.

It's probably why I'm finding it so difficult to let go of it :(

I believe he called it Harvest Gold the other day. It's a slightly lighter colour in real life.

I wouldn't worry about that one, it's looking too good for piano death from above, just don't tow a caravan with it :hump:

The search for a Twilight was impossible. And I couldn't miss the chance for this one :D
