Curious to see what folk would spend cash on their own zeds right now. So somone hands you 1k and it is yours to spend on your zed as you see fit, what would you spend it on? This will vary person to person due to their own different spec ZS's. Fitting parts yourself will make the money go further but labour costs are included if you have to put it into a garage:)

I am still contemplating my thoughts hehe :D

I'm happy with the derv and the way it goes, would spend the money on Track Days and the derv to get there. Also replacing brakes, tyres etc after having fun.

Without having to worry about spending the cash.

Steel caged bearings, LSD and lightened fly wheel.

Then a pair of new tyres.

Finally a new O/S/F caliper.

Complete strip down and respray and fix the bodykit properly, completely rustproof the underside, then a lightened flywheel, LSD (with steel bearings).

I'd refurb 3 of the wheels (1 has been done)
New rear bumper and front wing
New inlet manifold and throttle body
Whatever's left would go towards an exhaust system

I would send the LSD box off for a full rebuild and spend the rest on new suspension bits, adjustable and polybushed. Any remaining would go against a brake upgrade, OEM spec will do.

I would put 4new tyres on. New discs and pads front and rear, all 4 alloys refurbed, drivers seat leather repaired,. All priced up at £750. Then keep the rest as petrol money, so i could drive him the way he deserves without worrying.

Decat - induction - lowered - ding master to pull out the dents and fix the paint without a full respray - new head unit and speakers.
