Haha, forgot about that.. The struts are crap on it as it is!
I think iv got to sell this yeah, I really dont want to but I just cant afford the insurance.. Well I can, but its making me skint every month.. Its proper done me over how the insurance has banged £150 fee's on the last two months of the policy which has now made it £490 a month!

Not after any performance bits now, Just getting the necessities to tidy it up as I may be selling it, thanks anyway mate..
£490/month!!!!
That's about what i pay per year :p
How about see what the insurance is like at renewal time, then decide what to do with it??
After the effort of buying/modding the car etc, would be a massive shame to let it go.
Cheers

I know, what a joke ay.. They charged £150 to remove the ZR off the policy and another £150 to add the ZS back on! There is only 2 months left of the policy so they split the £300 over the last 2 months which has made me reallllly skint..
Il see what renewal price I get first then decide whether it stays or not..
I can see it still being fairly dear though.. If it is it will go and il get another ZR I should think..
Trouble is, not even had it a month and iv already spent nearly £600 on it.. It now owes me more than I sell it for now, I think.

Thing is, the only way of re-couping the cost, is by breaking it :(
Would be a massive shame if it got broken up.

I wont break it, its too good..
I think I might end up putting it back to standard before selling it though..
Its gunna be sold on straights also as the tyres on the 11 spokes are absolutely shagged, so suppose iv got a bit of money back with them..
If I removed all the mods iv just bought/fitted I think it would owe me around £1400 ish.. Should be able to get that for it.. It was most maintenance stuff that I have spent, service, gaskets, hoses, wheels/tyres etc.. and a lot of tidying up, new badges and stuff..
Ahh well see what happens..
If you did break it, Radion_Auto would get really upset!!!! :p lol
Cheers

That insurance cost is plain crazy .... Got to assume there's something in your driving history bumping it up maybe ....
Can't see a ZR being any different to a ZS though next year. Personally, there's no way I'd give that much to insure/run a car on top of everything else.

Nope never had a claim on my insurance..
Iv been driving 2 years and got 1 years NCB (first year of driving I was only named driver on my dads policy)
Also just to clarify when I said they charged another £150 to put the ZS on, that was because the ZS is £150 more a year than the ZR.. But they still charged me £150 to swap the two over :/
Il be able to find out my renewal price a month before the policy ends, if its not a decent price il have to sell the ZS and get something else, maybe another ZR that will chop £150 off and atleast if I get a ZR before my new policy starts they wont charge me to put the ZR on.. Hopefully..
