Unfortunately this is a characteristic of the ZS, There is a fix which a few other members have already carried out very successfully. Ill try and find the link

wedge the pedal to the floor overnight you a bit of wood what ever you have but must be tight to the floor works for me but as said the pedal on mine is low anyway

Do you mean the bite point is low or the peddle sits low?

Commonly the peddle sits higher than the brake peddle and a low bite point would indicate that either the master cylinder or slave cylinder or slave cylinder mounting bracket is failing.

The first thing I'd check is the bracket, the welds fail and it bends, cheap replacments can be found on ebay if you look for one for a V6 Freelander.

There isn't a servo on the clutch so I don't know how this can have been changed.

If you have a helper available you could get them to operate the clutch while you watch the slave cylinder mounting bracket, if it bends as the pedal is operated you've found the problem, as said above V6 Freelander brackets are around a tenner on ebay.
