it needs taking out of the current car, belts have been done, 2001 car new clutch fitted pretty much fully serviced with receipts to prove and it has a LSD fitted, inlet manifold isnt good and the thermostat is leaking quite badly, it was running but ive stripped it for bits now as i wanted the body kit off it. Got reciepts for all the work, would take £200 for the engine/gearbox and if its easier would take £250 for whats left of the car if you want to take it on a trailer.

Bargain if the engine is a good one i did this the last floods and found an engine for £280 which i did just short of 200 miles round trip for but was well worth it as the engine is a good one

did you pull the car off the road because of the leaky thermostat or did the leaky thermostat cause the car to overheat and thats why its off the road? Just trying to figure out if the engine will run fine once the thermostat is replaced.
Also can you give me a bit more information on the state of the inlet manifold.
