Im after a small sub/amp and came across the Alpine SWE 1000 after it had just won an award in Max Power mag.

Here it is below:

What do people think? Will it improve bass alot?
Also, what is a typical fitting cost?
Regards

Matthew

8" and only 150W, I wouldn't be expecting much from it to be honest. Max Power like it, that would be enough to put me off lol

A decent sub+amp deal would be a better option

What kind of budget you got and I'll look about my usual sites

I only want a small one as I need my boot for golf clubs! Its needed just to add some bass as my current speakers are quite poor.
Do you know how much it would cost to fit?

you could do it yourself, but if you don't know what you're doing best get a specialist to do it. No idea how much that would cost

Sub will just add bass, to be honest better speakers would be my first mod before a sub

It might be wirth getting a 4 channel amp for the speakers. I thought my clarions were nothing special until I upgraded the wiring and amped them... good grief what a difference!
