Ford Escort 1.3 Encore in Bahama Blue (ltd ed) - H901 CMP (nice car but underpowered and the neighbours liked defacing it and scratching it up)
Ford Escort 1.8 TD '75' van in Diamond White (fairly rare) - R664 VAR (brilliant van that handled very well with its 'bang doors' gearchanging :cool2: not a mark on it!!!!! )
LDV Pilot 1.9 2.2t van in Signal Red - V*** ODA (stunning van complete with auto peel paintwork and cat in the glovebox attacked from day one but I love her to bits a 'keeper' in my books)
MG ZS 180 2.5V6 hatch in Solar Red - SD51 *** (completed 10 miles home before awaiting an engine change and 'cash injection' my new toy replacing my kart team)

I have no real pictures to show there are a few on here of my LDV already and I will show you the ZS when its 'finished' shortly.

Here is a picture of my rebuilt LRG 2002 Prokart which took us to numerous podiums when people said it was past it (Up Yours! LMFAO!) Sold following a dispute with my drivers for £450 and sold this week by the guy who bought it from me for over £1000! Going to LeMans in 2008 to kick some arse with a twin engined kart with Subaru power :cool2:

My last car and first MG was a mk2 ZR in black. I loved it to bits, kind of miss it from time to time but love the ZS :)

Ford Escort (mk5) 1.3 Encore in Bahama Blue 1991/H reg very nice car......had it a week before the shites keyed it all up and ruined the paintwork

Ford Escort (mk6) 1.8TD Escort Van in Diamond White (75t) 1998/R reg very nice van.......fookin fast (for a van!).....top speed 120mph before it tried to part company with the tarmac lol.......sold it for fear of killing myself in rush hour traffic

LDV Pilot 1.9 (turd edition I believe lol) in Postman Prat Red (2.2t)2000/V reg.......a real pile of crap I love to bits.....rwd a bonus.....simple like its owner.....paintwork is peeling off and I have probably ruined all the mechanicals lol

MG ZS180 (mk1) 2.5 in Solar Red 2001/51 reg best car yet......and double the power I have ever had.......what hasn't gone wrong with it?! lol..........I feel the love........and it's an awesome car. Roll on 2008 for the big mods and to unleash The Big Stig :D

An R Reg Hyundai Accent Coupe in a light green shade, didn't really go or corner, had a big dent behind the drivers door (from when it was written off in Dec 05) and also a dent in the boot where I lost the plot one time and kicked it (oops):slap:.

Also the drivers side window didn't work, neither did the sunroof and it didn't have air conditioning - sweat box in the summer.

Then again it did get written off for about twice what I paid for it from a mate and I even managed to sell it for a couple of hundred as well...

One thing I do miss though is the variable speed intermittent wiper (on the wrong side - Korean Car).

Looking forward to seeing if anyone had anything worse before stepping up to a ZS180!!!

Where do I start?

To answer the specific question in the title, I would have to say a ZS180 (LMG mk1). This car was fitted with a BMC CDA and Leda suspension. When I sold it, it had over 144,000 miles on the clock and had done at least 12 track days.

'93 panda 1ltr fire. :blush:( dont know what the fire bit meant unless it was a hint on how to get rid of it)
pug 106 thing '94 i think, it didnt last long after an off road trip in winter.
52 scenic, bland but small child means carrying loads of cr*p, still got this but its getting sold after new year.
93 cavalier 1.8i first car love. had hundreds of plans but oil pouring from anywere it could killed that. still got a body kit and interior for it in me shed.

Zt was the 160 turbo, stag was original V8 with the manual overdrive, loved the stag didn't like the zt, nearly pxed the zt for the 260 V8 version a dealer at gravesend had, but it had a few too many scratches on it :blink:

I sold all the parts from my old ZR over on theMGZR.co.uk, a local guy bought my bling and covers but sold some of it not long after as he had a 2ltr conversion. He pinched my pic for the add. Actually there's a few people touting my picture to advertise their own products :spider:

My first car was a Suzuki Ignis Sport, which I only recently changed for the ZS180. The Ignis was actually a very good car, quick as a VTR, with nice Recaro seats as standard, and a great steering wheel and pedal arrangement. Superb handling and feel too.

The time gap between the Mk1 and Mk2 zed was probably less than 6 months, I had the Vectra for about two months ,didnt like it then got the Mazda but a visit to F & M show last summer soon made me realise my mistake so straight back to the MK2.

Yeah i bought the cherry as a runaround while i was giving the pontiac a respray (and repairing some damage) , think i used a full roll of MIG wire on it! and you asked! :slap:
The Manta was a great car (think i was 17 then), bought it for 80 quid and not a spot of rust on it , interior was a bit worn so ended up fitting a pair of xj6 front seats! :laugh:
I do tend to be a bit random sometimes ha ha :laugh:

GM Cavalier V6 auto.. lived in france for 2 years and after seeing how they treated there cars i decieded to get a 'minger' and run it till it died.. lasted 2 years then sold it for spares.

Cool thread, some nice old cars there. Heres my list.

1) Bought my first car after riding a moped. A gold 1.1 mk3 fiesta. Whoop. Proper reliable, but sold it for this, which was at the time the car i've always wanted in the whole wide world.

It was everything i wanted and more, my best car i've ever owned. I sold this on when i decided to buy something more modern. I met my current GF who had a 5 month old boy, so wanted something safer. So i got the puma.

3) Puma 1.7 VCT. I bought a full stainless decat system for it and coilovers too.

As it had no rear seat space, after about a year i decided i wanted a 4 door and a big boot, but i also wanted to go back to the 'old skool fords' again. Think i was missing the XR2 a bit much. So i bought this:

4) Ford Sierra Saphire Cosworth replica. (2.0 twinky)

It was very roomy. It had a full leather cosworth recaro interior too. Unfortunatley, it had a few problems. The biggest of all was the bodged engine loom and the rad fan wouldnt work. I decided i couldn't live with tempremental old cars any more and that it was a silly mistake to buy it, so i flogged in on after 2 weeks and got back in my trusty puma.

After a few more months i decided to look for something bigger again. Could of got a mondy, but i suddenly started noticing ZS's all over the place and they really took my fancy. Not long later and i'm now the proud owner of this:

While the MG has had its problems already, i've hopefully ironed a few of them out. I'm loving owning it. I still have the puma in the garage, which is currently for sale on auto trader (shameless plug) and i will be very sad to see that go, it was my pocket rocket which i love very much.

First interesting car - Mk1 Toyota MR2. RR'd at 125bhp after 130,000 miles, I revved the nuts off it day in day out for 18 months and it was faultless. Wish I'd never sold it :(

Toyota Supra Mk3. 3.0 24v straight six turbo, all the bells and whistles and sounded amazing with a straight-through exhaust. RR'd at 240bhp. Head gasket went and I had a feeling it was going to start costing me more money, plus it only did about 18mpg! It was so much fun though...

Well my driving history actually started off in the SD1, bought the same day I was born, brought home from the maternity hospital in her and still owned to this day, my first car was the Mini Cooper, havent got pictures of the Fiat Punto, the first and second 205 GTIs that I had, the Honda Concerto, P6 V8, 300ZX Twin Turbo or the 45 that I broke my neck in or incidently the 218 VVC Coupe I also wrote off!

EDIT, just realised ive posted mine already, now ive read through the thread, must of had a few drinks that night and forgot!

Bearing in mind im only 24, ive not had many cars.

My first car was a G reg GOLD mk3 fiesta 1.1. I wont bother posting pics lol.

My second car was an F reg MK2 Fiesta XR2. Ever since i saw one when i was younger than 10, i wanted one, and promised myself i'd own one when i was older. Its the best car ive ever owned to be honest, took me all round the country and never let me down.

After the XR2 became a bit prone to rust, i thought it was best to sell it, even though it broke my heart to let it go, i then got a Ford Puma 1.7 VCT. I also fitted a full stainless milltek system (4-2-1, decat and exhaust) which sounded the tits! Lowered on coilovers too.

After a while i decided i needed a bigger car, with a boot which can fit a buggy, as my GF had a child and the puma wasn't the most practicle. I also wanted to go back to and 'old school' ford as i missed the XR2. So i got a Sierra Saphire Cosworth Replica, bought un-viewed on ebay.

So i re-insured myself on the puma.

The last year in speptember i bought the mk1 180 hatchback. Originally wanted a saloon, but this came up cheap at the time, but ive fallen for it for sure!

Is this a genuine S4? Looks lovely on the CH's, been considering getting an A4, maybe the newer shape from this.
