Whilst out delivering, one of our customers, technicians was working on a Red 180 mk2 hatch. Got talking to him, and discovered it was his, owned from new. Recently had to put new engine in as his cambelt snapped!!!!!!!!!!!! ALl fixed except one thing, his fuel rail, is broken. He has got a price on a new one from X-part garage of £209. Does anyone know of a cheaper place?? If he can keep it on the road, then I have converted another member...:mbounce:

There ain't much that can go wrong with a fuel rail as long as it don't leak ;)

It'll be the seal on the end. Usually is. Very difficult to send second hand.

If it's this^^ try getting in touch with stevecleenz, sure he knows where to get replacment washers that will fit:)

I have a couple in the garage, which one? It tends to be the small 'o'ring that gets damaged as people are too heavy handed releasing the joint.

As an update, the rail was cracked. Fuel was coming out of a hairline crack. Gave him the Gateway Parts email, and he got one from a local breakers. All back on and the car is now back on the road. Many thanks he told me.

Now its running, I took a few pics of it, sorry about the quality. Its a one owner from new, loved ZS180. Not sure about the extra lower front splitter.

Looks like the splitter I had fitted to my old Calibra. Marmite tbh.
