That's right, sold the ZS last week and the person that bought it has put it up on ebay a week later.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MG-ZS-2-5-v6-180-original-unmolestered-/330849831801?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4d082fcb79

He's not contacted me to say there's anything wrong with the car, so I don't know if he's just trying to make a quick profit on it?

he has no reserve, so could end up with a quick loss :)

Ad says he bought it recently to use at weekends, but has lost garage space so has to go. Might be genuine or could be looking to make a few £

It could be genuine or he could be trying to flip it for a quick profit, not a very wise move with 180s tbh.

Hasn't mentioned the engine change either...?

Certainly reads like a dealer ad, but that might just be because he's copied sometimes format. How much did you sell it for?

If he's hoping for a profit a better ad will be needed I think

'unmolested' and 'original' really? We ought to bombard him with loads of questions to pi$$ him off.

I sold it for £500.

I'm surprised he hasn't put a £500 reserve on it, at least he won't make a loss that way.

He's probably thinking a bidding war is about to break out if everyone who views this thread sticks it on their watched list

It will, I think he got a good buy at £500, but prices are so flakey that it might go for less, the Silver mk2 only made £810.

Bidding is up to £510 with three hours to go, so he's got a £10 profit so far.

Checked his feedback, looks like he's sold a few cars on ebay.

I'd noticed his profit, I doubt it'll go much higher tbh.

he still has ebay fees to pay, so he probably won't end up with any profit at all

Could be some last minute sniping...

Finished at £525, so not much profit after sellers fees

No disrespect to the previous owner, but - "I wanted the best example I could find ...." Really ???

That's a rather overused phrase on Ebay, like one woman owner

And thats if the buyer turns up, ebay is terrible for trying to shift a motor.

Always get me thinks that its hardly ever cleaned and always ran till something breaks and then fixed rather than maybe noticed early an fixed sooner!

A lady I get a lift to work with was/is useless and the first time I got a lift the EML and the oil light were on! She said she didn't know what they were so just left it! She came back the nxt time having filled the engine TO THE BRIM! With oil.
One woman owner? Not a good thing!

He's bought the wrong make of car to be making a profit from, 180 prices are all over the place, from reading that, does it have no fobs at all?, I thought using the key to lock and unlock could lead to immobiliser problems

The car only has a single key. When I originally bought it there were no keys at all, so I got a key cut and purchased the EKA code so I could disable the immobiliser. The car works perfectly fine without it
