I was wondering how much my car would go for in Part Ex.

I have a few things I need to do and was thinking of exchanging it for a dev ZS.

Its a late 2001 on a 51 plate Sliver 63K(Just had cambelt and Head Gasket) 120 +. The Bumpers are a bit bashed up and air con not working.

Any Ideas?

You may be lucky and get £2000 trade-in, as they are selling for between £2000-£2500 for that year/mileage. Try them and find out, nothing lost, just be assertive with the salesman or they will reel you in once hooked!

Yes it I can get over 1500 I be fairly happy I only paid 2500 for it.

It got to point where I spend the money or trade in and I wouldn't mind a tidier car.

See what time I have over the Christmas period I may pop over a see one car I have my eye on in autotrader.

I was looking at the Midlands Trade Cars one. It seems fairly nice they don't have an address on there web site tho.

Looks tidy enough, not sure on the price though, perhaps a little high, I don't know.

That first one is somewhat dodgy! MK2 interior, Rover badges, MK1 exterior, Rover grill and bumper but advertised as an MG wtf! :sneaky:

Yes that a Cat C.

I am not 100 sure on the prices for diesels but the search only came up with 19 so I guess that pushs up prices.
I could go for another 120, 180 are out of the question changing to a diesel will save a min of 10 pounds a week, so that why I am looking down that route.

About right for price IMO the diesel ones hold their value really well. only thing it doesn't say is mileage which might effect price. I mean i searched for 6 weeks to find mine as you say there are less on the market out there. Only thing i will say is check and make sure it is a 115. the lower powered one isnt bad but once you have driven the 115 version it is noticeable.
