Anyone got one laying around they don't use, I had a feeling in the cold temps it is supposed to have one.
For a td so it will be bigger.

The mk2 180 has a insulating type thing around it, but nothing shows up on Rimmer Bros epc

Something like this maybe http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/THERMAL-CAR-BATTERY-COVER-118-CM-SUITABLE-FOR-50-UP-TO-72-AH-1-UNIT-BRAND-NEW-/350675919498?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item51a5e9e28a

I haven't seen one either, and it's potentially a serious design flaw, what with the ECU living so nearby.
The previous owner of my car sat his socket set on the battery while changing his clutch, and in doing so shorted it across the ECU, effectively blowing it's brains out!
He could never work out why he couldn't get the car started again, and it very nearly ended up being completely broken for bits because of it.
In short (no pun intended!), be VERY careful when working in that area.

I keep my battery warm in the boot - LOL.

IIRC the O/E cover is adjustable.
