Could fit a 1,8 ecotec in the vectra and use it to go down the shops

if mine is anything to go by it'll be a money pit to get working right since all the good bits are missing

I wouldn't mind the Vectra, would be a good project. Drop in a VXR 2.8T and off you go.

not quite, you'll need to try and get a sequential box for it as the seat, wheel and peddles are in totally the wrong place for a normal gearbox.

I know a money pit when I see one lol

The vectra should be an Opel as the steering is on the wrong side.

You could fit it with an auto box or any manual box that uses cables rather than rods.

Looks fun for the money, would cost a few bob to build.

Need to see it and make sure the picture is recent and not just after it was built and now done a stack of track days!!!!

I thought the M32 and F40 boxes were cable anyway - not much these days uses rods does it?

sure my Astra 1.9 uses rods... might be wrong though
