looked great ..... belts had not been done.... so £2.5k plus belts ...... not good value

Looks tidy, do love the full leather (except in summer or winter.. or when its cold or hot) to look at, and if my eyes don't deceive me its got rear electric windows fitted.

What was the reason for the walk away if you don't mind me asking?

asking price plus me to do the belts @ approx £600 ... was above my budget ... when i called the dealer I believed he had a bill for the belts, but sadly NOT

there were some (small) niggles .... rear door would not close flush easily, water ingress in spare wheel well, alloys were bubbled, brake calipers corroded, tyres low tread/budget, front grill lacquer peeling, stone chipping near rear wheel arches, rear pads were on MOT advisory

That does look very nice indeed, certainly would tick all the boxes for me with its spec. However I understand where your coming from as it then makes it a £3k car which if not in your budget is not in your budget..

yes ..... dealer was not budging on asking price ... and as it wa new stock, i can understand why .... so @ £2.5K (everything done) i was a buyer @ £2.5K with belts to do, I was not

Not suprised, it was the best I've seen advertised for a couple of months & not everyone "cares" about the belts ....
the offer to me was £2300 and for that I got 12 months MOT, 6months tax, a "service", and a one month "back to garage" warranty .... a great deal IF the belts were done ..... still needed some TLC though .....

At that priced, it was a good call imo mate, keep looking. The sad thing is, you wont find a mint one very easily as they are coming up to 9 years old.
