May be of use to one of you guys.

From another forum Scootz is now almost giving the kv6 away Link (http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=178810)

Shame because when I had the charger he wanted way more.

Cheers for the email Warren. Have sent him one for more info and location. Suppose the concern is that there is no history of mileage or anything. Slightly off putting it guess?

Every second hand engine is a gamble, ive just bought an engine of a fellow member he was told it was a late 04 but now ive cleaned the engine number up its a very early 02. All the bits on it are 04 so at some point its had an engine change so the history ive got with it isnt worth f a.

£50 isnt much of a punt is it.

I think he wanted £350 last year when I wanted one to mock up the charger.

It's probably worth almost that much weighed in as scrap!

Could also make a nice coffee table

Worth a punt at that price I would say even without any history.

I'd be all over that like a rash if it was down here!

Strip it, rebuild it with new valves water pump new timing belt, oil pump, new gaskets. full service, do all the works with the engine out.

I've been looking a one to strip and rebuild. It's the cheapest I've found so it will do.
