Hi, some of you may have seen my other posts about my ZS VVC, just wanted to start this one off as my new project thread for those that would like to follow my progress. I have spent a decent amount of money on the old girl since i have owned her and im hoping to have it to a show standard by some point next year!, my main concern so far has been modifying the engine to produce more power, so heres what i have done so far..

- Janspeed high flow sports cat
- Piper exhaust backbox
- Pipercross Viper induction kit and CAF.
- ZandF stage 2 remap, reset limiter to 7450rpm & pop and bang on over run
- Double patinum NGK spark plugs
- Cambelt and VVC belt
- Waterpump
- Thermostat
- Inlet and exhaust gaskets

nice car....i would have thought 180 badges should be more fitting.....if you only have 160 bhp after all you have done you must be miffed ,lol.

Thanks mate, the 160 badges were on when the engine was a standard 160bhp, once ive been down the rollers i would also expect the 180 badges to be more fitting. If not then i will be truely miffed lol

I have a ZT 190 badge waiting to go on my car if ever I get it remapped.

ptp used to do a 180ps performance kit for the ZR that comprised of a full janspeed exhaust and itg maxogen intake, a bit optomistic quoting 180 ps.
A chap on xpowerforums fitted these mods to his ZR vvc 143 and afterwards it made 158 so it gained 15bhp....so a 158 model would make 173 ish.
However with your exhaust cam and the remap, i reckon you will make 180 comfortably, maybe even a 190 badge wouldn't be too optomistic seeing as the zt190 only made 187 bhp.
