You'll need a matching set of parts, the ecu, bcu, and fobs, unless you can get a bcu recoded.

This guy on ebay is a bit of an expert on mk2 electrics, he is definitely worth contacting

The mk2 doesn't have a separate window controller, it's part of the bcu, the bcu, ecu, and fobs are coded together.

What is the problem you are having, the window opens, but won't close ?.

I think for you the easiest solution is to buy a matched set of parts, the ones ZRed offered are a good deal.

Technozen on ebay sells the relays, so if you are handy with a soldering iron you can replace the faulty ones and have a working bcu as a spare, just in case.

Would replacing the relays in the BCU cure this?

I'm not sure if it would cure the fob problem, that's why I think his best option is to replace the whole set of parts, he could then maybe send the removed items to Technozen to see if they're repairable.
