Just wondering if anyone knows of this problem or had it before?
basically my alarm was goin off the other day from what i though was because of the wind, so i was locking the car using the key lock. this was locking the car fine all four doors. now after a day it only locks the drivers door sets the alarm and the key fob lock button does nothing, but unlocking both ways is fine for all doors?
also the automatic locking has stopped locking

any ideas?

Thanks

Do a search for "soggy sounder".

Water can get into the sounder unit, under the coolant bottle, and it can do weird things to the alarm.

yeah i researched all that, but i wasnt sure if it was because it was stupidly windy. The alarm stopped once i key locked it which is supposed to turn off the interior sensor?
and i did read one about water getting into the central locking unit but that stopped it completly, not just stopped the locking of the car?

My one would go off randomly, parked up in the car park at work. Or worse about 1.00 in the morning at home.

Got so bad used to leave it unlocked until I got it sorted, with a new sounder!!!!

Before I was on here and hadnt heard of soggy sounder.

but do you think the soggy sounder would be causing only the locking to stop working?
