My ZS saloon - Trophy Blue

Hi all,

Whilst typing this I'm actually trying to cool down, I had just finished taking these pictures when I noticed some scum has stuffed hair up my exhaust!! thought it sounded odd, I absolutely hate people touching things that arnt theirs to touch!

Rant over, here is my ZS 1.8 120 saloon, it has many extras which pretty much brings it up to a 180 replica.

The car is seriously immaculate, the previous owner was an MG/Rover mechanic for 11 years!

It's not hair. It's more likely to be the stuff that deadens the loudness of the exhaust. So in other words the inners of your exhaust are falling apart and will make your exhaust sound loud.

Arh ha! thank you mate, I've done Google search on it and that comes up right, I'm pleased no one has messed with my car, I will be booking it in tomorrow to have a new back box fitted

Why has it got a 180 badge on the back when it's a 120?

Thank you for the back up there :-) the previous owner added that badge, I personally am not happy with it as I aren't one for pretending its something that it isn't.

If I could find a 120 badge somewhere I would definitely be replacing the 180 badge with it

Totally agree, if this was a 180 I think they would be going pretty soon, but they have such good tread, the fact its a 120 and I drive like an 80 year old (minus the running into things :-) I may as well wait until they are ready for replacing

Still wish I got a saloon ZS to be honest! And seeing yours,makes me want one again so much more! :(

But I'll settle for my Trophy Blue hatch still anyway :)

Thank you, personally I'm not really a fan of replicas, Id prefer the real deal or not at all, however when this popped up and I went to take a look at it I had to own it, I'm putting my little touches to it here and there gradually but it will pretty much remain the similar to what it is now

Oh and regarding the exhaust, booked in for next Tuesday, the one that's on it has had its day, Ive just started a project build thread with new pics etc, go take a peek :-)
