I am offering a full set of gunsmoke alcantara seats from a saloon.

The covers were only fitted a couple of years ago and have no major wear on the bolster, I have just ordered a seat renovation kit so will make them look perfect.

There is a little bobbling but this will easily be shaved (if I do it I will add to the price ;) )

Currently they are fitted with mk2 airbags.

Asking price is £170 and you old seats, I ask this as I need some seats in the car for when I sell it.

If you come to me in Horsham, near Gatwick I will fit them for you (and swap air bags if needed), only takes about an hour.

I don't have any pictures yet but will update when I do.

I am selling this set as they are in good condition and are worth half the value of the car.

I'm looking for ages for them, and I have a very mint set of grey axis in my mk2 for the swap (only 20k miles).
Just one problem : I'm living in France :)

May be it's time to drive back the MG in its country of origin...

With a lot of work on the rear seat fixings then yes. And maybe the backs of them too.

Depends if the tc (sorry don't know real name.) wants to have the work of putting the hatch seats into his saloon.

The fronts would but the backs would need a lot of work that I'm not prepared to do.

Bump - these soon wont be available as I'm nearly ready to sell GV51 and if I still have them the car will be sold with them in!

Just as a reminder - I am selling a set of gunsmoke alcantara seats with virtually new covers on them - the seat bases were original mk2 180 seats so are slightly more bucket than the O/E alcantara bases - they will be fitted with mk1 or mk2 airbags to suit your car - and I will fit them in your car and despose of your old seats.

A good deal in my books!

Sorry mate, you are a long way off, I was offering them for sale as I thought someone would want the upgrade, not because I wanted rid, they will help me sell GV51, I've seen them go on eBay for more than I was asking.

£150 is a fair price, but take into consideration a set in px too.

What would one do with one's old set, I ended up binning the O/E seats from GV51, couldn't even give them away! The way I see it I am doing the buyer a service by fitting them and disposing of their old seats.

Yes - maybe it was a silly idea - they are no longer available unless one buys the whole car.
