Just had one of those mad ebay moments.

I'd been watching a black olive - monogram - mark 2 180 saloon on the bay of E that needs a little bit of work. Stuck in a bid earlier today, and then with 6 mins to go I was still winning it ! Started thinking bl00dy hell, what if I actually win it !!! What about Red ?

Anyhow - it went to just over £1300 in the last couple of minutes ... Anyone on here ?

I was just going to bid to 1200 within the last 30 secs as was the one I mentioned the other day (without details though) but in the last 10 seconds it certainly jumped.
Wondered how many on here would be keeping this one under their belts with the 900 start price.
Still whoever got it well done as certainly wasnt me this time.

A friend of mine send his cousin to see the car today, and he said there were mayo in the oil.
Buyer, please be careful when you'll collect the car... I must say. :(

The short shift gear stick is hideous.

That went cheaply.

The buyer thinks it's 208bhp, given the spec that seems likely.

How can I love my PB but hate that colour? I think it is a horrendous colour, no offence.

Think it must just be the pictures though. Love to see it in the flesh....

The guy who bought it seems to go through cars at the rate of one every 3 months or so, it wouldn't be a surprise to see it for sale again shortly.

I must have missed something I think, who was it that bought it in the end?

Ah yeah I've seen him on the forums. Oh well, I suppose if he sells it on quickly someone else may get a chance to enjoy it too lol.

This one may be a keeper though, never know. Just hope he enjoys it, apart from the little things that needed sorting looked a great car.
Had all the bits I want on mine interior wise and engine wise.

It is a nice car, a little bit of a tidy up on the bodywork and it'll be spot on, I can't believe I sold a Black Oak interior because I didn't like it, every time I see one now I think it looks good.

That's for sure, a little bit of work and it'll look great. It was another one I was very very tempted by.

Yeah since my friend put the black oak I'm his firefrost zs I always thought it looked so nice, I've done it too though. Had something wasn't too keen on, sold it and then my opinion has changed and can't find the same thing to fit again or the prices have usually shot up. :slap: :slap:

yep, serves me right I s'pose, I shouldn't have sold it so quickly.

Its just one of those things though. I did it with my straights, when I got the mk2's on the car I took the straights off and put them in the garage.
A friends mate was after a set for his zr as only had hairpins.
I got a reasonable price for them which I'm not knocking but I now want another set of cheap wheels that I can do for track day / winter wheels and so I can get the mk2 set refurbed properly.
The same kind of thing, at the time didnt really care but now I don't have them its very frustrating.

Am I the only one having issues getting rt to load as I can't get it on my phone or laptop at the moment?
Is it my server or is the site currently having issues for others at present too?

RT is knackered at the moment.

I've suggested that it's worth what he paid for it a month ago.

Haha, yeah you always know when someone's bought something to make a profit.
Why not have just let someone who really wanted the car for what it was have it.
I know that's how it goes but its bloody frustrating.

I knew he wouldn't keep it long.

Has he sorted out the bad points, iirc it needed a bit of paint repair doing. I only ask as he seems to have omitted that information in his description over on RT.

Well it needed the nsr arch sorting, te replacement rear bumper was not in the same colour and if not then both the rear bumper and bootlid will still have damage.
Was a very nice looking car but did need work doing.
Love the way he's forgotten to mention he's only had it for about a month.
Was very keen on this one when it came up for sale, see what happens with it this time. Another keeper on the book now too.

thats what annoys me,why buy a car have it a month then decide to sell, circumstances do change i understand, its nice, but its another keeper on the v5,as said pete thought he wouldnt keep it long which in my eyes a mistake
