... and you can not get the radiator from another supplier other than an XPart dealer.

is there not a way of fitting a turbo and intercooler system and getting rid of the rad this might be really stupid idea but hell i might have nothing to lose....

is a rover 45 / civic saloon rad the same as the ZS one? you see loads of them in scrappies

arwilson80

I was wondering similar things Ross. More specifically the MKI 180 rad....

Maxxed_Ross

knowing the Rover cost cutting department they probably are exactly the same

just go to a scrappies and see if you can find one and try it. A rad from a scrappies won't be expensive and is deffo worth a try

I am surprise something mechanical like a radiator is hard to source. I would expect body parts to be hard.

I was off the phone to a radiator place in Glasgow (East End Radiators) he can re-build the remains of the rad if the tanks are okay for £90 for the core, if the tanks are burst he gave re-build it these for £50 each, but he needs the old rad in front of him, he said he done one for Nationwide crash repair in Cumbernaild, just thought for you

if you wanted an intercooler and radiator you could just fit and set up from the L series diesel model.

PS the turbo system to go with it maybe a bit more differcult me thinks

or you could go here

Its alright saying that you can go somewhere to get a rad repaired but the insurance companies usually stress that it has to be replaced with a oe real deal rad.

Saying that if they allow it thats great.

Too many MG ZS 180s are getting wrote of through stupid insurance assessors who know nothing

it's shocking how little damage can write an MG / Rover off these days. The one I've been ripping bits off in the local scrappies had engine failure, the rest was perfect!

yeah i had to get a reconditioned radiator on my car. There were no new ones. They managed to get all the bodykit parts no problem

I had to source one for the repair centre.

I got it from roverlink.co.uk

might be worth contacting them
