also obviously thats just the front kit not the rest but you get the idea. there are wheel options and im yet to try my btcc replica wheels on their zs but the mk1 wheels which sit deeper than a mk2 dont look as bad as i thought and testing the width of a mk2 arch there isnt as much in it as previously thought. hopefully i'll be able to get better pics next time im up their way

Definatley interested and it looks good but I imagine the cost will be double what my zed cost to buy. Whan will we know the £££?

im guessing around the £900 mark for the lot the less parts the cheaper it becomes, the more people the cheaper is becomes!

Just confirmed that it is most likely one definite from me for the kit :)

Would like more pictures of the rest of the kit and more information, time scales etc...

Should we go through you for the buy or speak direct to Ratech?

£900 ish for the kit - a grand minimum for a solid colour respray - wheels that dont look lost under it - £500-£600 for decent used ones.

Granted it'll look the part most likely but the cost surely makes it prohibitive.

I'm interested if they end up doing one for a hatch .... ;)

the kits should fit either as the rear arches will be a kit to add to either hatch or saloon

I'm tempted to get one for EX259 to replace the horrible hybrid front arches that are on it just now

Problem is I have the small side skirts, not the huge ones - and would really like to keep those. Any pictures of the back half of the kit?

That is by far the finest ZS front end I have ever seen.
I'd give my first born for something looking like that, with or without the flared arches and wide skirts.

possibly, but you've not felt the weight of it!

Awesome! Would need a 180/160 to make it worthwhile though. Would probably slow my 120 down. Glad someone is finally making the kit. I think Lozmachine has been after one for a while so maybe worth a post on xpf.

definately interested but it would be after christmas before I could afford to strip the track car down and rebuild at the expense of a grand or so.Definately have one though

i would but i don't think it would quite fit a mk2

Maxxed_Ross
17-06-13, 02:24 AM
wouldn't look right as the Mk2 kit was totally different at the front.

You could always be the first to turn a Mk2 into a Mk1 lol

well im tempted to try the wings and make them fit the bumper somehow, love the wheel arches and need them with the bigger wheels i use

Maxxed_Ross

how wide are these arches? I'm worried they won't be wide enough for me

They easily will be, as your arches aren't wide now judging by your pics, can you take a measurement or send a pic of holding a ruler from the edge of the wing over to the edge of the wing so I can see what the distance is. I'be got measurments of mk2 wings and the touring car ones so will be good to compare

The current ones are about 20 - 30mm too small even with the crazy camber. They were close enough as it was with no camber but the new wheel and brake combination added another 40mm to the width.

I'll measure from the edge to the bonnet shut line when I get home.
