The boy had a red 180 for breaking, I asked to buy it whole, he said he'd bought it to fit the engine to his so couldnt sell it whole. I offered a low mileage engine and cash for the car. No deal. Said it was to keep his mint car on the road. No probs. then seen this for sale and asked about it, turned out its the same guy and he wouldnt give me a price. Wanted offers. Back garden engine replacements don't fill me with confidence, and anyone that wants buyer to be buyer and seller is out to make as much as they can. Why buy a donor car from England, strip it for bits, then sell your car cheap? Stinks.

Good bit of info there, makes you look at it a bit different. Depends how good his work was but bit suspect about getting the red one as you said then trying to punt this cheep..
