Mk1 saloon rear light cluster

As above. I'm after the passanger side. My lights have gone erratic. Indicate with brakes on brakes flash. Or tail light flashes. If tail brake and indicator on incator is rapid. Bad earth, check all wiring can only be the carrier. The scrappy nearby sucks. Must be going into financially melt down. Scrapped half the cars :-(

My Mk2 earned me a pull at Midnight up in the Lake District few years back. No rear light o/s.

Any way got out the car and discussed it with the police guy and in the end I gave the light a thump and back it came.

When I got home pulled it all to bits and found the strip connector was a bit corroded. My trusty WD40 sorted it and its been OK since.

Might be worth a try.

I did have random lights flashing when I was sorting, cant remember now where the earth was, or went.
