yes it is very light, was way ahead of its time and tuning 230bhp from a 1.8 was impressive a few years ago.

Whilst the honda 1.8 is heavier, it is also more reliable and can produce 270bhp, but more than all of this, it can produce 250bhp of that at 6500rpm, whilst they claim its torque-less, it certainly is not in a decent state of tune.

Sadly, the unit that is overlooked is the KV6, which has the capability of producing c300bhp, but no-one has done it and no one will as it doesn't fit in many of these exotic lightweight sports cars and it would cost a small packet to do it.

But, even all these years on, there is a lot to be said for the 1.8k, and the 1.8 honda also.
