When Ralph and I looked into it......it is likely the wiring loom is there......but the bulb and its holder may not be.

Quite how involved this job is I dunno.....maybe I should put a post up in the interior section :hmmm:

Nope we are talking about Ralphs unique MG Sport & Racing bonnet bulge as found on his ZS180. Look in the members cars section for EMS Ltd to get a better look ;) we are working on this right now for a small run of these to be made as and when required. My car will be the guinea pig for this and pictures will become available when it is completed......probably by the summer so watch this space -> [ ]

I did a rear wiper conversion to my Firenza, was a great mod. Got a Corsa one in the garage, offered it up but not quite the right shape, so it is one of my 'to do' jobs when I go scrapyarding sometime.

Pretty boring but

Light smoke tints all round
Possibly Mk1 rover 45 headlights
Fit pioneer X1R and Cd changer

And give the car a proper service ( oil, oil,fuel, air pollen filters, new cambelt and tentioners new spark plugs, coolant flush and change new wipers, new gearbox oil and new mintex discs and pads all round) and repainting the calipers black

Generaly fixing anything thats not perfect aswell

Only had it 6 weeks and have added an xpower backbox and transplanted my pioneer avh5700dvd into it but once I get the leak sorted (changed the stat housing, temp sender unit and all pipes/orings today, all sorted thanks to Lates....


Parking sensors (having read the great how to on here, 23 quid and an hour to do!)

START BUTTON....dunno why just gotta have one..:mml:

Wheels refurbed (was gonna be hypersilver but now I've seen smokeys white ones.....hmmmm)

Site Stickers !!!!!

Might debadge the back...?

Might try and find a trim shop and have the door cards retrimmed with blue alcantara to match the seats..

Like the tf mirror mod...

Like the TF steering wheel...

I don't think anyone can get hold of the TF steering wheels in blue anymore iirc......

Silver is a maybe......hmmm check on ebay or with Ralph at EMS Ltd. You will need an adapter to fit the TF steering wheel onto the ZS spline......read elsewhere on the forum about that using the search facility.

My biggest plan is simply to keep it !

I change cars too often. Have pledged that if I hold on to this until I'm 40, just under 3 years, I'll get something extra special. Trouble is that if I do the following, I'll have something extra special :):)

Exterior.
My handles are getting done on the warranty.
Union Jack for the roof still in the box, but is going to go on at some point this week as I'm off.
Got a few scratches and chips so might look at sorting them.
My bumper at the back, looks dull compared to the body. I reckon it's had a dink but not been repaired very well. Might look at a once over paint job .... costly though.

Interior.
Have had my eyes open for Alcantara leather interior to come up on a fleecebay...but no joy. I know EMS does them, but when they'll cost me £750 ish, I might look at a full leather re-trim. Maybe in grey ....

Engine.
My car is fast as feck anyway .... so I'm fine just now.

Will change the wheel when i find a cheap one to have refinished in blue...

I have slowed up driving now......so instead of getting 180 miles to a tank........I'm getting 280 :clap: quite chuffed with myself really as that is the same as my Pilot Sportsvan which has a Pug 1.9 diesel engine and only 70bhp.

I have just ordered some more ICE for my ZS now.......thanks go to Wilko66 and Carmadbaker for their guidance :D I hope to get that fitted by Brooklands fingers crossed :thumbsup:

yeah my old man drives a kia sedona 2.9 diesel. big people carrier thing. he does just over 30mpg, i do just under, but diesel costs more so we end up paying pretty much the same!

Thats mainly the mods but got quite a few things to do in terms of maintaining it. Its been off the road for nearly 2 months :( and gonna be off for another 2 months me thinks. Should be all ready for the summer time inc most of the above mods :)

60mpg Bloody hell buy a smart car and you wont get that.

A zs 180 modded driven conservatively can give 40 mpg

which we have proved on many trips to BTCC events and many forum meets.

Secondhand gearbox or reconditioned(low miles)
Poly bushes for all the suspension bits and roll bars
320mm front brake kit from Reyland(if they ever get back to me)
Respray of front end and trim reset.

Why get another box?Yours will more than likely just need bearings.Pop some steel caged ones in & you'll be fine for a good while

Well from my original list i've only added the Konig alloys but on top of that which wasn't on my list it's had a new windscreen (tinted top band) new rear badge to replace the de-laminated one it had, lay-flat wipers, Traffic Master, new 'euro' type number plates and that's about it really, nothing major but all the little bits make a big difference !
