Where can I find a new duplex Janspeed exhaust for my mk2 180 4 doors ?

On the web I only find duplex back boxes for hatchback models... :/

I struggled to find one for the Saloon as well, Larkspeed may be able to help, the other alternative is a Blue Flame system but @ £600 it was a bit expensive for my taste.

Is ZRed not a janspeed dealer?

I think he wanted to become one, but it fell through I believe.

Speak with PTP to see if they can still obtain a Janspeed system?

I can still get them but overpriced in my opinion.

Go to a custom builder and you'll get a custom cat back for about £400 I reckon.

the only difference between civic, r200 coupe, zs hatch, saloon and mk2 is the length of the tailpipe, which is easily modified.

personally, I would look around and see what is available 2nd hand for any of the above and modify it before shelling out for a new one.

Splitting the pipe into 2 backboxes will reduce power and add weight. You will pay a lot of money to get this done custom with mandrel bends and a proper custom made splitter.

or just get a box in the standard location which has an outlet to the back and an outlet to the front with a secondary pipe running around the back of the wheel well. Yes, it will require bespoke fabrication and yes it will cost but it wont add much weight and wont reduce power.

exhaust tuning is a very complex one, not just the headers or stepped headers, primary pipe diameter and length, equal lengths, very important are the much overlooked collectors - a decent on of these will easily set you back 150quid.
Yes, the ZS system is one of the most shocking systems out, the secondary pipe diameters are the same as the final.

Often the most messed about with is the final pipe diameter.
This should ideally be one continuous pipe diameter, not getting larger and smaller, not splitting into two. Why? velocity for one, just think what happens when you take a 2.25" OD dipe and split it into two, what happens to the velocity then?
Even the tailpipe should be the same diameter as the rest of the system if you are tuning for power.

On the other hand, if you are tuning for noise and looks, then a few different size pipes and duplex backboxes will help get you some different noises, but power? No.

I've got a Longlife cat back duplex fitted to my MKII 180. £350 (12 months ago).
Can recommend.

A bit of digging around has revealed that Janspeed will only build new duplex systems if they get 5 or more orders, Blue Flame who also did a duplex system have gone bust, which pretty much just leaves the custom built option from places like Powerflow, Longlife, etc.
