Currently under £500 and just needs an exhaust apparently.

I'd be dubious over the belts too? Has it had the proper jobbie?

I also questioned the limp mode, not heard of it on the KV6, however my old V6 Calibra did have limp mode and that was hard work when a sensor went down.

No, there is no limp mode, not a bad looking car but it appears to be more than one shade of Silver to me, particularly the rear bumper, but that could be just down to the really poor pics.

If he paid £2200 earlier this year plus the cost of getting the belts done, it could be a good buy, I fancy that selling a car on ebay a week before Christmas is going to result in a very low end price.

I'm always wary of sellers claiming that a car "just needs", if that is the case why doesn't he just sort the exhaust for a few ££ and sell it as needing nothing and being fully up and running, just a thought.

I agree, but then again - if he doesn't want it and has already shelled out on belts - another £300 on a cat back ain't gonna be easy.

Sometimes people just want shot. I've been there .....

I get your point Dan, but a mild steel cat back isn't going to be £300.

£60 spent, bargaining chip for any buyer removed :-)

It went for £869 in the end, reckon that was a bargin if the sale goes through.
