Just bought myself a 1996/7 Rover 820I Auto 5dr Hatch, 53000miles FSH, 2 owners. Its immaculate no rust what so ever. dunt know if to keep it or flip it got it for a song

Suppose that depends on why you bought it ..... If it were a Vitesse, Sterling or even older VDP I'd have though it would be easy to find an enthusiast buyer if it is in great condition with good provenance. A 2.0 auto low spec .... not so sure .....

It looks in lovely condition, but as above really, it might prove a difficult sell.

Looking at it the other way the lower spec models are not so common so may well be seen as gold dust? The same goes for the old Escorts and Cortina's many L and GLs are going for silly money as the better known Sports, GXLs, Mexico's etc are as we know off the scale.

Nice car, nothing to lose in doing some groundwork. Might pay to clean it up and advertise it on the PoL.

Dont think they will allow, for sale, ads. Thats the face book, one. ;-)

I'd try the 800 clubs, one near us, one of the guys has a stretched one. Government officials used to ride in it.

Must be worth quite a bit, you dont see many on the road.
